LowCarbEating provides support for healthy, sustainable low-carb living—via community, education, and resources.

The basic premise of all low carb diet plans is this: EATING FAT does NOT make us fat! Rather, eating an over-abundance of processed carbohydrates is what causes us to become obese and to suffer from all kinds of obesity-related diseases. While plans differ in the amount and type of carbs "allowed" - from as low as 20g per day in the "Induction Phase" of the Atkins Diet to quite a bit more but only from very whole grain, low glycemic carbs in the SugarBusters Diet, to somewhere in between for the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet - keeping the amount of carbohydrates eaten lower than the average is the cornerstone of the low carb diet lifestyle.

Many folks find low carb eating is a lot easier than they thought it could be... once you get past the initial week or so, your cravings and appetite decreases, your energy increases, and - well, the weight comes off! Can we guarantee a low carb lifestlye will work for you? Nope. But we can guarantee that others have done it - and that we'll be here to support you.

Visit often and participate in our community discussions for lots of friendly support. Don't forget that we have lots of FREE low carb recipes available, too!

Whatever low carb diet plan you decide to follow, remember: think of it NOT as a diet, but as a way of life! We wish you success and health!
